The key to remaining in the best of health is to ensure you have a routine health check programme, typically an annual review with Dr Sockalingam.
At CAS Medical we offer extended appointment times so that you’ll have the opportunity to consult with Dr Sockalingam without any time pressures, to discuss your health concerns in detail and at follow up appointments there will be time to discuss your results and what happens next, be that further tests, treatments, or health and lifestyle recommendations.
Dr Sockalingam is connected into a local network of private healthcare facilities and should you require further radiological tests or an onward private referral to a specialist consultant this can be done.
If you wish to have a more detailed review of specific elements of your health status due to known underlying medical conditions, or due to lifestyle, for example those with a very active sporting lifestyle, the clinic can offer specific health checks on a one off or on a routine basis.
This is done by a tailored programme of specific tests from which comprehensive reports detailing various aspects of you health status can be reviewed, including cardiovascular health, metabolic function, and lifestyle considerations. These insights serve as the foundation for your wellness journey.
Comprehensive evaluation covering extensive physical examination, weight, height, blood pressure, BMI, cardiovascular risk calculation, 12 lead ECG, spirometry, and bloods including full blood count, liver function, renal function, thyroid function, diabetes, B12, folate, ferritin and cholesterol.
Packages can be further customised, to offer a bespoke risk assessment.
Specialised assessments focused on understanding and optimising heart health, including ECGs, lipid profiles, and cardiovascular risk assessments.
In-depth analyses of metabolic function, insulin sensitivity, and nutritional assessments to guide personalized dietary recommendations.
Tailored assessments to evaluate your fitness level, stress management, and lifestyle habits, with recommendations for improvement.
Addressing the crucial connection between mental and physical well-being, our assessments include screenings for stress, anxiety, and other mental health indicators.
Dr Sockalingam has extensive experience of managing most common mental health issues. Where needed, we have links to private psychology and psychiatry services.
An integral part of any health screening and in some cases as part of a medical consultation you may need to have screening test done. At CAS medical we can offer the following:
- Blood & Urine Testing (carried out at Local Labs)
- Access Radiology Examination (X Ray, Ultrasound, MRI and CT) Carried out through local Private Hospitals
- Onsite Electrocardiogram Capability
- Onsite Spirometry (lung function tests)
- Urinalysis and Blood Glucose Testing (Onsite)
When we take a specimen for testing or when we send you to a partner facility for a radiological test ( X-Rays, etc), we will let you know how long it will take to get the required appointments or how long the the test results will take to come back, so we can set your expectations properly at what might be an anxious time for you.
We will also ensure that we contact you as soon as possible when we have your results to arrange a follow up consultation. This may be a simple phone call or a face to face review depending on the type of test undertaken.
